Alisal Student Leadership and EqoLink are working together to support Outdoor Education and the environment.
Between Monday, March 20th and Friday, March 24th, please bring your bagged items and give them to one of the student leadership members in front of the Alisal multi-purpose room. They will gladly grab the bags out of your car at drop off or pick up.
- Alisal receives money for every pound of textiles collected
- EkoLinq promotes sustainability through textile reuse and recycling
- All money raised helps Alisal 5th Graders attend outdoor education classes
ACCEPTED TEXTILES
(Both reusable and damaged)
- Clothes: Shirts, Pants, Jeans, Dresses, Suits, Shorts
- Outerwear: Coats, Jackets, Gloves, Hats, Scarves
- Footwear: Shoes, Boots, Heels, Sneakers, Sandals
- Undergarments: Bras, Underwear, Socks, Slips
- Linens: Towels, Sheets, Comforters, Blankets, Tablecloths
- Accessories: Hats, Belts, Ties, Scarves, Headbands
- Other: Handbags, Wallets, Backpacks, Stuffed Animals
NOT ACCEPTED
- Textiles that are wet, moldy, contaminated with chemicals or bio-hazardous waste cannot be recycled and will not be accepted
- Mattresses, furniture, or other similar oversized items will not be accepted
